Sheltered
by a "tuf" cliff that protects it from the Mistral (north wind),
Cotignac nestles in the beams of a generous sun.
Its shaded malls, its paved streets, its numerous fountains, its open-air theater, its tour of the cliff, all reveal themselves to the visitor's gaze. Dany will welcome you in the most authentic provençale tradition. |

Pra de Pé - Stained Glass Studio
2 chambres d'hôtes The Pra de Pé is firstmost straightforward and welcoming. It is found in the old village, at the foot of the sheltering cliffs, just 30 metres from the mairie (town hall) and 50 metres from the cours (central throughfare) with cafés, restaurants and shops. The guestroom entrance is via a charming cobbled path, rue Arnaud de Cotignac (troubadour !!). The road between the parking (above the cemetary) and the entrance is pictoresque and calm with the stone lavoir (laundry fountain), the shaded access frequented by lazy cats, and the surrounding gardens (We're happy to come help with your suitcases). The 17th century stone house is nice and cool in summer; the rooms are very quiet, and we suggest, for a provencal 'sieste', a game of 'petanque', or the evening 'aperitif', a shady cabin surrounded by vines a couple of kilometres away. |
